Punctures for both Drivers at Hockenheim Day 1
Kristoffersson and Linnerud in a tight battle in the second heat
The second round of WRX 2015 at Hockenheimring started in wet conditions. Volkswagen Team Swedens pace in rain is well known after the success story in Portugal previous weekend. Kristoffersson started as he finished Portugal with an impressing P1 in the first heat, team colleague Tord Linnerud finished 3:d after a great pace in the Volkswagen Polo R WRX. In the second heats, both Polo drivers suffered from punctures, Kristoffersson running 3 laps with both tyres flat on one side, finished P21 and ended Day 1 P7. Linnerud punctured the right rear and finishing P16 in Heat 2 and P10 overall.
The Grand stands of Hockenheimring is starting to be crowded already when we are looking forward to better weather during the Saturday activities. Today the Warm-up starts at 16:10 and the 3:rd Heats is starting at 16:50.
Tomorrow the race is broadcasted live at Viasat Motor and TV10 in Sweden at 10:30 local time.
