Semi-final for Volkswagen Team Sweden drivers!
After major drama yesterday in 4:th Qualifying, Johan Kristoffersson and Tord Linnerud both managed to Qualify for today’s Semi-finals.
Team mates Linnerud and Kristoffersson both made it to the semi-finals
In the start of Heat 4 Linnerud was pushed in to the barrier, made a 360 degree spin and still recovered to get 11p in the heat and 10:th overall. Johan was driving for a safe position when he was hit hard by Peugeot driver Jeanney as he came from the Joker-lap and did not see the Volkswagen driver. After the though crash, Johan limped to the Finish line in P9, and ended P4 overall.
Now the situation is a copy of last weekends Montalegre race before the semi-finals, with Johan in the first line of semi-final 2. This time with Team Colleague Linnerud in the same semi-final.
Today we could expect a thrilling final day of HockenheimRX!
